This form should only be used if you wish to transfer your domain name to us from another registrar. If you have a web hosting provider and wish to "point" your domain name to their NameServers, then Do Not Use This Form. Instead, please refer to our Control Panel FAQ page for information on "Pointing your domain to your web hosting provider".
On October 2006, the .com and .net registries added a security code requirement for each domain name in order to approve the transfer of a domain name from one registrar to another. The authorization (EPP) key is unique for each domain name. We must include this key as part of the transfer process in order for the tranfer to be successful. Please contact your current registrar and request this key prior to completing our transfer form. The authorization key is not a new security feature for transfers. This key system was already required for .org, .biz, .info, and .us domain name transfers and is now being used for .com and .net domains as well. If you have any questions, please Contact Us.
Transferring your domain name to us is free. However after the transfer process is complete, a minimum of 1 year must be added to the current expiration date of your domain name. The cost for this additional year is only $20.00 and is billed to your credit card at the very end of the transfer process. Please visit our Transfer FAQ Page for more information about transferring your domain.
