Domain Name Control Panel - General Questions:

I'm having problems logging in to my Domain Name Control Panel

You may login to your Domain Name Control Panel by clicking on the link entitled Domain Control Panel from your left. After clicking on the link, a new window should appear which looks like this:

If you're using AOL, then the problem is more than likely related to the security level associated with AOLs internal browser. To overcome this problem try accessing your domain name control panel using another Internet browser such as Internet Explorer or Netscape Navigator. Internet Explorer (IE) comes installed on virtually all Windows computers. If the problem persists, please contact our technical support department. Please note that your password is case sensitive.

My password isn't working

Make sure that you are not using any spaces and that you are typing in your domain name correctly when prompted. Remember that the "www." in front of a domain is not part of your domain. Are you forgetting to include the .com or .net after your domain? If nothing seems to work, please contact our tech support staff by clicking on the Live Help icon to your left (when available) or by using our Contact Us Form.

I forgot my password

All passwords should be stored in a safe place. In the event your password is forgotten or misplaced, please visit our Password Retreival Form to have your password emailed to you.

Please note that for security reasons, passwords will only be emailed to the current administrative contact on file for your domain name. If the email address associated with your domain name is no longer valid, please let us know by using our Contact Us Form. Please note that the password associated with your domain name is something you chose at the time you registered your domain name. The password was also emailed to you in your original confirmation email.

Waiting for your domain name to become active

All domain names now become active the moment you register them.

I don't see options for Email or URL Forwarding in my Domain Control Panel

To take advantage of our free services such as Email or URL Forwarding, you must first make sure that your domain name is pointing to our Name Servers (DNS). By default all new registrations are set to use "Our Name Servers".
  1. Log into your Domain Name Control Panel.

  2. Click on the Edit button in the "DNS Information" section.

  3. Next, click on the Default radio button.

  4. Lastly, click on the Save button to save your changes. By pointing your domain name to our name servers, the option to use Email and URL Forwarding are enabled. Please note that you should not use Email and URL Fowarding for your primary domain name. Instead you should establish a Web Hosting Account that will allow you to create POP3 email accounts using your domain name. If you have not done so already, we strongly suggest you listen to our Getting Started Tutorials. These tutorials are designed to help you understand the differences between domain names, web hosting name servers and email.
